discombobulated

A quick post while I'm waiting for my jacket-tater to cook. Nothing too important to say really. Getting on with a mammoth workload, cooking for myself more and more, trying to find a part-time job around campus to help with the rent, still doing my 365 project and trying to do my absolute best in all aspects of the training.

Best thing is now, mid-way through term two, we're all starting to settle into ourselves. Most of us are pretty much there, secure in the course, secure in our mates and who we can trust. Me,I'm very close if not already there. Only thing is, whenever I go back to the parent's place, my home for the past god knows how many years, it never feels right. Even worse, when I come back I always feel slightly disconnected from the uni group again, especially if it means I've missed a social night or god forbid a party. Only thing it seems to do in that situation is just knuckle down and focus on the work

It's a hard slog, but it'll be worth it at the end.

Dinner's ready
